Introduction to the NSS Orientation Programme
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Orientation Programme for Unit 181 was successfully organized at Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi, on 29th August 2025. The event was held at the Swami Vivekananda Block from 2.15 pm to 3.30 pm and was specially designed for first-year students.
The purpose of the NSS Orientation Programme was to introduce new students to the vision, mission, and activities of the NSS. By attending this orientation, students were given a clear understanding of how NSS develops leadership qualities, a spirit of service, and a sense of social responsibility. The programme began with a warm welcome address by Dr. A. Esakkimuthu, NSS Programme Officer. The session continued with a special address by Mr. P. Anand, Coordinator of Anti-Ragging and NSS Programme Officer.
