The ten–day Dasara Navaratri Kolu Pooja, held from 23rd September 2025 to 2nd October 2025, brought together faculty members, students, and staff in a vibrant atmosphere filled with prayers, cultural programs, and traditional practices.

Day 1: Inaugural Kolu Pooja by Students’ Union
The Navaratri Festival 2025 began on 23rd September 2025 with the inauguration of the Kolu Pooja. The arrangements were beautifully organized by the Students’ Union. The Principal, Vice Principal, professors, students, and office staff graced the occasion with their presence.
During the inaugural session, speakers emphasized that festivals like Navaratri encourage leadership qualities, teamwork, and cultural awareness among students. The traditional Kolu display, music, and devotional songs created a divine atmosphere that marked the beginning of the celebrations.
Day 2: Celebrations by Science Departments
On the second day, 24th September 2025, the celebrations were hosted by the Departments of Botany, Mathematics, and Physics. Day 4: Zoology, Chemistry, and History Observances
On 26th September 2025, the Departments of Zoology, Chemistry, and History collaborated with the Students’ Union to host the celebrations. Day 5: Tamil and English Departments Lead the Festivities
The fifth day, 27th September 2025, was a special occasion organized by the College Office, Tamil Department, and English Department. Day 6: Staff Participation in Navaratri Festival 2025

Day 8: Durga Ashtami Celebrations
On 30th September 2025, the Durga Ashtami day, the Self-Financing Wing, Vice Principal, all departments, and the Students’ Union came together for a grand celebration. The highlight was the collective prayer to Goddess Durga, seeking blessings for wisdom, unity, and prosperity. Students also organized traditional food offerings, music, and cultural performances.
