National Post Office Day Celebration – History Dept.

The Head Post Office, Thoothukudi along with the PG and Research Department of History celebrated the National Post office day by conducting a stamp exhibition on 11-10-2023 in the department of History. Mr.M.Ponniah, Superintendent of Post Offices, Thoothukudi Division, The principal Dr.J.Poongodi, Vice Principal, Dr.A.Ashok and the Chief Guest along with the staff members participated in the postal day Celebrations.The chief Guest was karnel Sundaram, a retired military personnel. He gave interesting and inspiring speech for the students. More than 300 students utilized this opportunity to view the collections of stamps associated with the historical events taken place in the world. The arrangements were made by Dr.A.Devaraj, Head & Assistant professor of History along with the history department staff members.
