Mushroom Cultivation Training Program – EDC

Entrepreneur Development Cell, Kamaraj College organised the “Mushroom Cultivation Training” in association with Tamilnadu Women Entrepreneurs Association on 02.12.2023 at Kamarajar Kalvi Arangam. Mr.K.G.Shunmugavel, Master Trainer, Tamilnadu Women Development Corporation and Alumni of Kamaraj College has given a training on mushroom farming and cultivation. Mrs.Mano Ranjitham, Additional Director, Department of Agriculture – Tamilnadu, Thoothukudi has also engaged as one of the resource persons and interacted with participants. Mr.Dinesh, Coordinator, Rural Self Employment Training Institute-State Bank of India, Muthaipuram, Thoothukudi has delivered the speech on financial grants for women entrepreneurs and government schemes for starting the small business. Nearly 30 students from Micro Biology, Business Administration and Chemistry departments and 40 womens from the Thoothukudi District were participated, and benefitted from this training programme. The training programme was successfully coordinated by the Dr.R.Karuppasamy, Coordinator (SF), Entrepreneur Development Cell and Dr.Krishna Radhakrisnan, Founder, Tamilnadu Women Entrepreneurs Association.
