Mupperum Vizha – 2023
To commemorate ‘ Mupperum vizha’ held on 06.04.2023 in a magnificient way to represent Annual Sports Day, Annual Day and Founder’s Day, the Chief Guests being Mr.C.Dinesh Kumar, IAS, Commissioner of Thoothukudi Corporation, Mrs. Subathra Vetrivel, Correspondent – Sri Saradha School and Sri Lalitha School, Thoothukudi and Mrs.V.Vishwabharathi, Director – Gamesville Sports Academy. The day began with ‘Sales Day’ which sparked out the joy and co-ordination of the students who were eager to bring out their skills in entrepreneurship. More than 50 stalls were displayed by the students. Next ‘Flash Mob’ was illustrated with the manifold expertise and crafts of the students. More than 10 dances were performed which fascinated the audience breathless and mesmerized. Then the programme began with great pomp and show. The honourable Chief guests made the day special by stepping out of their shoes to make the students motivated and inspired them towards high goals of life. Dr.V. Joseph Raj, Head of Computer Science Department welcomed the gathering College Annual Day report was read by the Principal, Dr.J.Poongodi and the Annual Sports Day report was read by the Physical Director Mr. T.Balasingh, Mr.Gopalakrishnan, Assistant Professor of Commerce delivered vote of thanks. Next the prizes for the Founder’s Day and Sports Day events and the academic prizes were distributed for the meritorious students. Cultural events the final part of the programme made the occasion very joyous and jubilant and the programme came to an end with National Anthem.
