Mentoring Institutional Social Responsibility and Facilitation for Community Engagement – UBA

A faculty development program was held for six days (26.09.2022 to 01.10.2022) on the topic of “Mentoring Institutional Social Responsibility and facilitation for community engagement ” in Kulasekharam Sarda Krishna Homeopathic Medical College, Kanyakumari. Thoothukudi Kamaraj college which is one of the best colleges functioning under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan scheme was selected to participate in this camp. Kamaraj College UBA Coordinator participated in this camp. Various pieces of training regarding rural development were given in this camp which was jointly organized by the Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Hyderabad, and Regional Institute, Dindigul. Various Hands-on field training was given on specific branches like Greenery, energy, water, solid management, and Sanitation. Moreover, meeting tribal people and field trips on tribal development, Discussions with Anganwadi staff about Rural development, capacity building training specialists, and first aid training methods with the medical team were given in the camp.
