Mega CEO Talk – Kamaraj Start-Ups Centre

Kamaraj Start-ups Center, Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi and JCI Pearlcity Queenbees, Thoothukudi jointly organized a “Mega CEO Talk” on 16.10.2024 at 10.00 A.M. @ Seminar Hall (G.J. Block). The major objective of this programme was to induce the students towards entrepreneurship as it can create employment for the future generations. There are 127 students from various departments of our college attended the program.
The Programme was inaugurated by Dr.J.Poongodi, Principal who her said in Presidential Address – Ambitions becomes habit and habit becomes a way of life which is crucial for entrepreneurs to succeed with SMART work. Dr.A.Arunachala Rajan, Vice Principal urged the students to constantly evolve, explore and exploit from what they learn.
The idea of establishing the event was conceived by Dr. R. Karuppasamy, Coordinator, Kamaraj Start-up Center and Dr. B. Ponnuthai, Coordinator, Kamaraj Start-up Center; supported by Dr.M.Maruthamuthu, Member, Kamaraj Start-up Center, Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi. With the support from JFM A. Madhumitha, President, JCI Pearlcity Queenbees, Jc HGF S. Lebonchia, Secretary, JCI Pearlcity Queenbees; and JCI Sen Adv V. Subachini, IPP, JCI Pearlcity Queenbees, Thoothukudi. The JCI Pearlcity Queenbees, Thoothukudi arranged 8 CEOs as Resource Persons form various sectors (business) for this event of Mega CEO Talk.

The CEOs are promoted their business and delivered about their success stories. Stressing upon the need for innovation through entrepreneurship, they are covered Innovative ideas are solution for major societal issues. They advised the students to look for originality in their ideas and social projects. They gave real-time examples to motivate the participants and answered their queries. Ms. Y. Yuva Sai Priya from III-BBA has acted as a Model. They shared the ways to develop social projects and commercialize the same. The students had a highly interactive and thought provoking session. Participants enthusiastically came up with questions that were relied on by the speaker’s on a comprehensive and student friendly manner. All the participants were eager to start-up a venture through Kamaraj Start-up Center.
