Medical Camp and Sapling Plantation – NSS Unit: 218

The National Service Scheme, Unit No. 218 organised the One Day Medical Camp and Sapling Plantation for flood affected people at Srini Nagar, Korampallam Village, Thoothukudi on 07.01.2024. The event successfully done by the support of Korampallam Village, Be Well Hospital and We Can Trust, Thoothukudi. The Free Medical Camp inaugurated by the Mrs.Praba Athisayaraj, President, Korampallam Village. Dr. Kalaiarsan, RMO, Be Well Hospital was chief guest and led the medical camp systematically. The Sapling Plantation started with planting Sapling by Mr.M.Christopher, Coordinator, We Can Trust. Mr.P. Velmurugan-JE (E&M), Indian Army, Srini Nagar felicitated the event and given wonderful support to organise the flood affected people at right manner. Dr.R.Karuppasamy, Programme Officer, NSS Unit 218 coordinated the entire programme with support of our Principal Dr.J.Poongodi and Vice Principal Dr.A.Arunachalarajan. Twenty NSS Volunteers effectively involved in this work. Ten sapling planted with proper gage. And 62 local people benefited from the free medical camp.
