Medical Camp – Alumni Association
On behalf of the Kamaraj College Alumni Association, a General Free Medical Camp was organized for the public on 6th July 2025. The initiative aimed to extend quality healthcare services to the local community and was conducted with the active involvement and support of several reputed medical institutions.
Renowned doctors and medical staff from Aravind Eye Hospital, Thiraviam Ortho Hospital, JJ Dental Hospital, and the Indian Red Cross Unit participated in this noble cause, offering their services with great dedication and compassion.
The camp witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 150 members of the public availing themselves of the free consultations and check-ups. As a significant outcome of the event, free cataract surgeries were successfully arranged for six patients, providing them with the gift of clearer vision and a better quality of life.
The entire programme was beautifully coordinated and executed by the alumni members, who worked tirelessly to make the event a grand success. Their efforts not only showcased their commitment to community welfare but also strengthened the bond between the institution and the society it serves.
This medical camp stands as a shining example of how Kamaraj College Alumni Association can contribute meaningfully to social causes and create a positive impact on public health and well-being.
