Marketing Internship Experience at Brandcare Pvt. Ltd. Offers Students Valuable Industry Exposure
This report presents a detailed overview of the 10-day marketing internship program undertaken by 20 students—including 14 final-year and 6 second-year students—from the Department of Business Administration, Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi. The internship was conducted at Brandcare Private Limited, a renowned strategic marketing consultancy firm with expertise in market research, brand strategy, communication design, and digital marketing solutions.
The theme of the internship was “Market Study”, and it was expertly supervised by Mr. M. Sampath Kumar, Partner Consultant at Brandcare Pvt. Ltd. His mentorship ensured that students received both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure to real-world marketing practices.
The orientation and briefing sessions were conducted at the college campus—on 19th July 2025 for third-year students and 26th July 2025 for second-year students. Following this, students began their on-site internship at Brandcare Pvt. Ltd., gaining firsthand experience in various marketing activities between 19th and 30th July 2025.
During the course of the internship, students were immersed in several core areas of marketing research and analysis, enabling them to understand how theoretical concepts are applied in professional settings. They learned to assess consumer behavior, interpret market trends, and contribute to branding strategies across various sectors, including healthcare, FMCG, finance, and retail.
The 10-day internship proved to be a valuable experiential learning opportunity, helping students strengthen their practical skills and prepare for future careers in marketing and business administration.
