Market Cleaning Campaign: Mybharat Diwali, Thoothukudi – NSS Units: 218, 243 & 244

The NSS Unit 218, 243 and 244, Kamaraj College organised Market Cleaning Campaign under the theme of Mybharat Diwali in the Ulavarsanthai Market near to New Bus Stand, Thoothukudi on 30.10.2024. Mr. Rajapandi, Sanitary Officer, Thoothukudi City Municipal Corporation inaugurated the event by his motivational speech. Followed by Mrs. S. Rajalakshmi, Sanitary Inspector directed the volunteers towards the plastic and waste bottles collection. Totally 28 Volunteers actively involved in the cleaning work and they collected nearly 500 Kg waste. The campaign was successfully coordinated by NSS Programme Officers Dr. R. Karuppasamy – Unit 218, Mrs . K. Indira – Unit 244, and Dr. M.P alaniappan – Unit 244.
