A guest lecture was organised by the Phoenix Literary Association, Department of English (SF) on 11.02.2019. Prof. Colette Sharmila, Asst. Prof., Department of English, PG & Research Department of English, V.O. Chidambaram College, Thoothukudi was the speaker. The guest lecturer was warmly welcomed by Prof. K. Sheyamala, Head of the Department of English (SF). The topic “Literature and Literary Forms” was explained to the audience with fluidity and relativity. The lecture included a slide show presentation and questioning session. The students offered their feedback for the session and it ascertained a constructive response for the lecture. The chief guest Prof. Colette Sharmila was honoured with a token of gratitude by Dr. A. Tony Melwyn, Director of Kamaraj College.
