On 24 December 2025, the Department of Economics (Self-Finance) and the Department of Public Administration of Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, jointly organized a Life Skill Programme on the theme “Yoga and Sports-Specific Training Techniques”. The programme was conducted from 11.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. at the Golden Jubilee Seminar Hall on the college campus.

The Life Skill Programme was designed to promote physical fitness, mental well-being, discipline, and stress management among students, thereby supporting holistic development alongside academic learning.

Objectives of the Life Skill Programme

The primary objective of the Life Skill Programme was to educate students about the importance of yoga and sports-specific training techniques in leading a healthy and balanced lifestyle. The programme aimed to encourage students to adopt regular physical activity as part of their daily routine.
