Jam, Jelly, Sauce, Malt, Fruit Pulp Production Training Camp – UBA

On behalf of Thoothukudi Kamaraj college Unnat Bharat Abhiyan – Rural Technology Development Center (AISHE code : 41209) Jam, Jelly, Sauce, Malt, fruit pulp production training camp was conducted for women of Self Help Groups on 26- 08- 2023 at Servaikaranmadam panchayat office in order to improve the rural economy. In this one day “Hands on training camp”, training was given to prepare beetroot malt, pulp, Jams, sauces, Jellies , etc. Dr. T. Ponrathy, Head of Botany Department, Kamaraj college and Dr. M. Muthu sheeba, Assistant professor of Botany, imparted training to the Self Help Groups women. About 60 womens participated and received training under the leadership of Servaikaranmadam panchayat office secretary Tmty. Mariammal. The arrangements for the entrepreneurship training camp were made by Coordinator of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Dr. J. Nagarajan and UBA students chemistry Department representatives , under the guidance of college management and Principal Dr. J. Poonkodi.
