Intra-Collegiate Competitions on Ultrasonics V (ICCU V) – Physics Dept.

Every year, February 28th is celebrated as National Science Day to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir C. V. Raman. As a part of this, the Ultrasonics Society of India and USI Students Chapter III, Department of Physics, Kamaraj College, organized a One-day Intra-collegiate competition on Ultrasonics V (ICCU V) on February 26th, 2024. Various events like Paper Presentation, Quiz, Poster painting and Dumb charades were organized. Students from various departments of our college participated in these events. The best of two prizes were awarded for each event, and all the participants also got their participation certificates. Out of 15 teams, the overall rolling trophy was won by the Department of Computer Science (SF). A welcome speech was delivered by Mr. G. Rhenius Israel Raj, President USI SC- III, (I M.Sc. Physics), followed by Dr. J. Poongodi, Principal delivered the importance of research and science day. The winner list for each event, overall results, and report of that event.
