International Women’s Day Celebrations 2023

On the occasion of commemorating International Women’s day(8.03.2023), Kamaraj College marshalled various competitions and events for staff and students on 7.03.2023 and 8.03.2023. On the first day the following competitions were held – As you like it, mehandi, Rangoli, Face painting, Hair do and Art from waste. The second event of today’s occasion Women’s Day(8.03.2023) were MIME and group dance. The much awaited results were announced during the valedictory session initiated by our Principal and Vice Principal. The session began with Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu, Mrs. B. Viji (Asst. Prof. Commerce) welcomed the gathering. Chief guests Mrs. A. Swarnalatha, Deputy director/ general manager (district industries centre, Thoothukudi) and Dr. M. Rajadurai (Principal, Rajalakshmi college of arts and science, Vagaikulam Thoothukudi) graced the occasion and shed light on the opportunities and obstacles in the path of women. Mrs. Swarnalatha created an awareness about the government’s benefit schemes for entrepreneurial women and the list of jobs young women can adhere to. Dr. M. Rajadurai addressed the students using humorous and jovial explanations thereby inculcating the essential thoughts of womanhood. When the much awaited results came, students cheered for their friends. The ‘overall winner’ shield was won by the department of Commerce (Aided) and the ‘Overall Runner-up’ shield was bagged by the department of English(SF). The session came to a patriotic end with the national anthem. The day was a grand success reflecting the healthy contests between the students encouraging them to be inspiring women and the untiring work of the administration and all teaching and non teaching staff.

தூத்துக்குடி – காமராஜ் கல்லூரிில் உலக மகளிர் தின விழாவானது 07.03.2023 மற்றும் 08.03.2023 ஆகிய இரண்டு நாட்கள் மிகச் சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது. இவ் விழாவினை முன்னிட்டு மாணவிகள் மற்றும் பேராசிரியைகளுக்காப் பல்வேறு கலை மற்றும் விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகள் நடைபெற்றன. இரண்டு நாட்களும் நடைபெற்ற போட்டிகளில் மாணவிகள் குழுக்களாகப் பெற்ற மதிப்பெண்களின் அடிப்படையில் அதிக மதிப்பெண்களைப் பெற்று வணிகவியல்துறை (Aided) மாணவியர் முதல் இடத்தையும், ஆங்கிலத்துறை (SF) மாணவியர் இரண்டாம் இடத்தையும் கைப்பற்றினர். பிற்பகல் 4.00 மணி அளவில் பரிசளிப்பு விழாவானது தமிழ்த்தாய் வாழ்த்துடன் ஆரம்பமானது. வணிகவியல் துறைப்பேராசிரியை திருமதி. பி.விஜி வரவேற்புரை வழங்கினார். தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டத் தொழில் மையத்தின் தொழில்நுட்ப பொது மேலாளரும் , துணை இயக்குனருமான திருமதி. அ. ஸ்வர்ணலதா அவர்கள் சிறப்பு விருந்தினராகக் கலந்துகொண்டு தொழில் முனைவோருக்கு அரசு வழங்கும் நிதி உதவி குறித்தும், பெண்களின் பொருளாதார முன்னேற்றத்திற்கு ஏற்ற தொழில்களைக் குறித்தும் அரிய பல கருத்துக்களைச் சிறப்பாக எடுத்துரைத்தார். அவருடைய உரை மாணவிகளுக்குத் தன்னம்பிக்கையை ஏற்படுத்துவதாக அமைந்திருந்தது. மேலும், தூத்துக்குடி வாகைக்குளம், இராஜலெட்சுமி கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் கல்லூரியின் முதல்வர் முனைவர்.எம். இராஜதுரை அவர்கள் சிறப்பு விருந்தினராகக் கலந்துகொண்டு போட்டிகளில் வெற்றிபெற்ற மாணவியர் மற்றும் பேராசிரியைகளுக்குப் பரிசினை வழங்கியதுடன் பழந்தமிழ்ப் பெண்களின் வாழ்க்கை முறைை குறித்தும், தற்காலப் பெண்களின் வாழ்க்கை முறை குறித்தும் பயனுள்ள கருத்துக்களை எடுத்துரைத்தார். மாணவிகள் அறிவும், பண்பும் மிக்கவர்கள். இதைப் புரிந்துகொண்டு செயலாற்றி வாழ்வில் மேன்மையடையவேண்டுமென வாழ்த்தினார். மாணவியர் கர ஒலிகளை எழுப்பித் தங்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியை வெளிப்படுத்தினர். நாட்டுப்பண்னுடன் விழா இனிதே நிறைவடைந்தது. கல்லூரி நிர்வாகம் ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்த இவ் விழாவில் கல்லூரி நிர்வாகத்தினர், முதல்வர், துணைமுதல்வர், பேராசிரியப் பெருமக்கள் மாணவிகள் அலுவலக அன்பர்கள் அனைவரும் கலந்துகொண்டு விழாவினைச் சிறப்பித்தனர். ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர்கள் ஒன்றிணைந்து இவ்விழாவினை ஒருங்கிணைப்புச் செய்தனர்..
