Participants were encouraged to reflect on the relationship between policy, policing, and public cooperation.
Students discussed case studies and proposed creative solutions to address issues such as cybercrime, juvenile offenses, and substance abuse. The discussions sparked interest in practical criminology, ethics, and reform-based approaches.
Collaborative Learning and Academic Impact
The seminar was an enriching experience that bridged theoretical knowledge and real-world policing practices. It promoted collaboration between Indian and international criminology scholars. Students and faculty members were given exposure to how police departments in London operate in diverse, multicultural environments.
The event offered a rare opportunity to understand policing not only as a law enforcement mechanism but also as a culturally sensitive, community-based service aimed at building trust and safety.
