
International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking – NCC Army
An awareness program was organised by kamaraj college NCC Army wing for International day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking. As part of the program a rally was organised from NCC army unit to Kamaraj college. Cadets carried placards and raised slogans against drugs. Followed by Dr.A.Venuka,B.D.S.,

Thoothukudi, delivered an awareness speech .She expressed her concern about the raising number of drug users. She talked about drugs, how the repeated use leads to addiction and how these affects one’s physical and mental health. Further she insisted the cadets to keep themselves away from this trap. She also explained about tobacco control act (COPTA) and asked cadets to join hands to fight against drugs. Cadets actively interacted with the resource person. 50 cadets from Kamaraj college and VOC college participated in this program.
