Interaction with Tharuvaikulam and Kulathur Goverment School Students – English Dept.

On 20/01/2023 the student volunteers from the department of English, Kamaraj college, Thoothukudi along with the talent quest for India trust went to Tharuvaikulam Government Higher secondary school and Kulathur Government Higher Secondary school.
In Tharuvaikulam our students taught them some link techniques as well as some grammar parts like Numbers, Genders and Collective Nouns. The day’s session came to an end with Mind Map creation. The students actively listened to the classes and also worked out some grammar exercises and mind maps.
In kulathur Government Higher secondary school it was the 6th session for 9th standard students. The topic handled was ‘Planning to write a Story’. Our students taught them how to create a story from one’s planning and also gave them a sheet of paper to create a story based on their own creativity. Our students motivated them to tell their stories in front of the classroom to make the session a creative interaction.
In both schools our students also distributed a cheque of rupees thousand issued by the ULLAS programme of TQI trust to top five meritorious students from eighth standard as a token of appreciation for the hard work and efforts taken by the school children.
