PG and research Department of Commerce organised State Level Inter Collegiate cultural Festival COMMQUEST- 2024 on 14th March 2024. The Secretary of our college Thiru P.S.P.K.J. Somu , The Principal Dr. J.Poongodi and our Head of the Department Dr.J. Muralitharan lit the Lamp. Dr.A. Shanti Head of the Department of English was the Chief guest of the program and honoured by our Faculties. 424 students of Thirty two colleges from Madurai, Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Thoothukudi and Kanyakumari Districts participated in the programme. Ten Cultural competitions including Business quiz, Corporate walk,Best Manager were conducted.
A.P.C.Mahalakshmi College, Thoothukudi won the Overall Championship. St.Mary’s College, Thoothukudi was the Runner-up. Students enthusiastically participated in the programme. Exhibition stalls of two wheeler and sales stalls of edible items were opened by many Entrepreneurs. Dr. J.Muraltharan Head of the Department of Commerce and the Convener of the program delivered felicitation address. Dr. B.Ponnuthai ,the Organising Secretary of the programme delivered Vote of thanks. All the Faculty members of the Department and Student coordinator Miss.BalaHema of Third B.Com coordinated the programme.
