Industrial Visit: Zirconium Complex, Pazhayakayal – Dept. of Chemistry

PG and Research Department of Chemistry (SF), Kamaraj College successfully organised a one day Industrial visit to Zirconium complex, Pazhayakayal on 01.10.2024.
Dr. R. Rajkumar and Dr. K. Krishnaveni, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, accompanied with 45 students from III B.Sc., I M. Sc. and II M. Sc. Chemistry visited the zirconium complex. The students visited various places like
1. Zirconium production plant
2. Lab production techniques
3. Sponge production plant
They also watched a short video about the development and the operation of the zirconium complex. After that they conducted the Quiz exam for students and 13 students got the prize in Quiz. Students had a great experience on visiting the zirconium complex. They gained the practical knowledge and job opportunities in the zirconium complex.
