Industrial Visit: VOC Port, Thoothukudi – Dept. of BBA

The Department of Business Administration, Kamaraj College has successfully organised the one day Industrial visit to V. O. Chidambaram Port, Thoothukudi on 18.07.2024.
Mr.J.Isaac Deodine, Assistant Professor , accompanied with 27 students from II BBA – Shipping and Logistics visited the Port. The students visited various places like,
1. Information Centre
2. Breakbulk Terminal
3. Open Storage Area
4. Loading and unloading of Cargo
5. Transit Shed
6. Wharf & Berth
They also watched a video about the development, the functioning and the operation of the port.
Students had gained the practical experience by this visit. They had a real visualisation of the port’s operation.
