Industrial Visit organized by Department of Microbiology

The PG & Research Department of Microbiology has organized the Industry and Lab visit for PG students to Borotic Rubber Wood & Gloves manufacturing Industry, Kanyakumari Cooperative Milk Producers Limited (Aavin) and Hi-tech Advanced & Diagnostic Centre – Nagerkoil on 31/10/2022.
Mr. Sudarsan, Technical Incharge, Borotic has explained the process and manufacturing of plywood from rubber trees and gloves. Mr. Sundar, Technician, Aavin has elaborated on the milk processing methods and milk products. Mr. Chein, Manager, of Hi-tech Lab has explained the RT-PCR techniques, Histopathology, Biochemistry, Hormone studies & Blood processing methods.
The students actively interacted and clarified their doubts with concerned persons. The students gave wonderful feedback about this visit. The College management and Vice Principal fully supported this industrial visit.
