Industrial Visit – Microbiology Dept.

The PG & Research Department of Microbiology was organized one day Industrial visit to Trivandrum. A total of 50 students from I PG & II PG Microbiology went to Annai Foods on 3.4.23. It is a cashew nut processing industry. Mr. S. Vinoth, The Manager were explained about that industry. We have to learn the raw cashew nuts processing methods, quality control methods and packaging method. Finally the packaged edible nuts were exported to various countries based on the quality. The cashew nut products were also manufactured. The students were activity involved in this visit. The students were also enjoyed the boating part in the Poovar island visit. The Police Inspector of Poovar were interacted with our students. The management provided all the necessary facilities to this visit.
