Induction Ceremony for Office Bearers – BBA Dept.

The Department of BBA and Shipping and logistics has conducted the induction ceremony for office bearers of K-MASSO (Kamaraj Management) and an Alumni meet. Mr.G.MUNISAMY, IRS, Assistant Commissioner, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs House, Thoothukudi was invited as the Chief guest for th event. The event started with the greeting note and tamil Thai vazhthu. To mark the beginning of the event The chief guest, principal,vice principal and HOD had lit the lamp. Assistant Professor Mrs.Jeyalakshmi has read the achievements of our department for the academic year 2022-2023 followed by which an AV was presented about the K-MASSO Association. The dignitaries were invited to the stage. The Head of the Department Dr. R. Karupasamy of BBA and Shipping and logistics delivered the welcome address after which the Chief guest was honoured with the shawl by the vice principal and a memento by the principal and a special memento by the HOD.Our Principal Dr.J. Poongodi gave the presidential address. Our Vice Principal Dr. A.Arunachala Rajan delivered the felicitation address.The oath of office ceremony began where the chief guest delegated the positions to our department students by awarding sachet and taking the oath. Mr.K. Kumaran from III BBA SL took charge as President, Mr. K.Pughalendhi took charge as Vice president, Ms. Shivaani Manoharan took charge as secretary, Mr. S. Sudharsana from II BBA SL took charge as Joint Secretary, Mr. K. Bavinesh took charge as treasurer, Ms. Y.Yuva Shai Priya took charge as Vice treasurer,V. Mohnish from III BBA took charge as Head of VENTCOM committee, S.U.Joushuah from III BBA-SL took charge as Head of DECCOM committee, Mr. Mohamed Arshath from IIBBA-SL took charge as Head of SYSCOM committee, Ms. S.Kaleeswari from III BBA took charge as Head of HOSCOM committee, P.Surya from III BBA-SL took charge as Head of PROCOM committee. After the oath of office the induction ceremony came to an end with vore of thanks delivered by Mr.Kumaran president of BBA and Shipping and logistics.
Followed by this event the Alumni meet began. Four distinguished alumni from various batches were invited as guest of honour for this event (Mr.Prabhu Suresh, Mr.Murugan, Mr.J.Jenith and Ms.S.Poovarasi). The Chief guest G.Munisamy and Head of the Department honoured the alumni with a memento and a shawl. The Event began with the welcome note for the alumni read by assistant Professor K. Abirami. The alumni were invited to share their experience with their juniors. To entertain the audience of the event Debate has been conducted among our students on the topic ” cell phones are good or Bad” . The whole day events came to an end with national Anthem.
