Inauguration Ceremony – Dept. of Microbiology

On July, 26th of 2024, PG and Research Department of Microbiology organised an “Inauguration Ceremony” for the office bearers of Majestic Microbial conqueror’s 2024-2025 with great enthusiasm and warmth. The ceremony commenced with Tamil Thai valzthu. The event featured several key segments, like Chief guest introduction, Association journey and introduction of office bearers. Following that, the Welcome address was given by M.Mariselvi, III B.SC. The chief guest for the Inauguration ceremony of office bearers, Dr.T.Ponrathi, Assistant professor and Head, Department of Botany, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi, delivered the presidential address. Then a Science Quiz program and a Connection program was conducted by our final year PG students and prizes are distributed by Dr.S.Abirami, Assistant professor and Head, PG and Research Department of Microbiology, Kamaraj college, Thoothukudi. S. Saraswathi, II M.SC and J. Rajakumaran, III B.SC presented their topics ‘Transgenic animals’ and ‘Brain eating Amoeba’ and created awareness among to students. And finally the vote of thanks given by S. Yogeswaran, II B.Sc. The ceremony concluded with National Anthem.
