Inaugural Ceremony: Academic Year 2025-2026 – First Year Aided Students

The inaugural ceremony of the academic year 2025-2026 was held on 18.06.2025 at Kamarajar Kalvi Arangam. The first year parents meeting was also held. The first year students were given a warm welcome by the students council members alongwith BBA students. The program was presided over by our College Secretary Thiru.P.S.P.K.J.Somu @ Somasundaram. Tamilthai vazhthu with College prayer song was given by the students council members. The program was inaugurated with the lighting of the kuthuvilakku by the Secretary Thiru.P.S.P.K.J.Somu@Somasundaram, Principal i/c Dr.K.Bhanumathy, Vice-Principals Dr.S.Senthil, Dr.A.Arunachalarajan and Senior-most professor Dr.V.Joseph Peter. One boy and one girl with the highest marks in +2 among the students admitted in each of the first year programmes were honoured by the Secretary.

The Principal welcomed the gathering and introduced the Heads of the departments and delivered a speech about the college from its inception. The senior most professor delivered a speech on the about the Programmes, opportunities, do’s and don’ts. The placement officer Dr.A.Devaraj introduced the placement and training department faculties. He also delivered a speech on the facilities and trainings offered by the placement and training departmet. Captain Dr.X.Helan Flora delivered a lecture about NCC and other extra curricular programs in the campus. Head of the Physical Education Department Dr.G.Anantharaj explained about the sports facilities available and achievers in sports during the previous years. The Vice-Principal Dr.S.Senthil delivered vote of thanks. The programme was organized by Mrs.S.Remona, HOD of English and the faculties.
