History Day Function – Dept. of History

The Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Samiti, Tamil Nadu, in collaboration with the History and Economics departments, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi. organized History Day function today 29-08-2024, at 2:00 PM in our college auditorium. The function start with prayer and Tamil Thaai Vaalzthu. Dr. A. Devaraj, Head of History department, delivered the welcome address. This was followed by an introductory speech on History Day by Mr. Kasi Velu, Secretary of the Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Samiti. Dr. A. Asok, Vice-Principal and Head of the Economics department, and Mr. V.P. Arumugam, Joint Secretary of the Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Samiti and Central Government Advocate, delivered felicitation address. The valedictory address was given by Dr. Siva Subramanian Pillai, President of the Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Samiti. Students and faculty members from the Economics and History departments participated in the function, which concluded with the national anthem. The arrangements for the function were excellently made by Dr. A. Asok, Vice-Principal and Head of the Economics department, and Dr. A. Devaraj, Head of the History department.
