Hill Charity Home Visit, Thoothukudi – English Dept.

II MA students of the department of English visited Hill Charity Home on 21st February 2025. The students were accompanied by the staff Dr. B.Shahaya Sheeba and Dr. K.Akila. The students took effort to meet each and every one of the person in the home. They made them happy and enthusiastic by conducting programs and games. The major focus of the visit was to spend few moments with the aged people who were abandoned by the family and friends.It was a small effort from the students part to make them happy and cheerful for few hours. The students came back from the home hoping that the purpose of the visit was fulfilled through their performances that made them to laugh and be vibrant forgetting all their bitter emotions and struggles of the past.
