Health & Eye Care Camp – UBA

Under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan scheme (AISHE code : 41209), Thoothukudi Government Medical college, Thoothukudi Aravind Eye Hospital, and K. A. S. Ramdas Poly clinic jointly organized free diabetes , and blood pressure screening camp, eye care and general medical camp in Kamaraj college on 11-08-2023 . Thoothukudi Government medical college Dean Dr. G. Sivakumar initiated this special camp and discussed with college and office staffs.
More ever Dr. B. Kannan, chief surgeon, Dr. K. A. S. Sivakumar Ramdas , Diabetic specialist, Ophthalmologist Dr. Gomathinayagam and their medical team were present in the camp college Principal Dr. J. Poongodi delivered the key note address. Vice Principal Dr. A. Ashok presided the camp. Students and Teachers benefited from the camp. Special medical advice was provided by the medical team to the faculty and staffs on the college.
All the arrangements for this special medical camp were made by the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Program Coordinator Dr. J. Nagarajan, Assistant professor of Zoology and Co-coordinator Dr. A. Subhashini assisted the medical team and conducted the field work with the students of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan on the advice of the Management of Kamaraj college.
