Health Awareness Programme and Diabetes Check Up Camp – Microbiology Dept.

Post Graduate and Research Department of Microbiology associated with Youth Red Cross (YRC) organized a HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAMME AND DIABETES CHECK UP CAMP, on 24th August 2023. Dr. Aarathy Kannan, MD., Dip.Diab., FCD (Diab), MBA (HM), Consultant Physician and Diabetologist, Sundaram Arulrhaj Hospitals, Tuticorin, Member of IMA, IMACGP, API, RSSDI, GCDC & IWC of Tuticorin Spic Nagar, International Youth Society were serves as medical consultant. Dr. Dhinesh Kumar MBBS., DNB gave a keynote address about this camp. Dr. A. Arunachala Rajan, Vice Principal, inaugurated the program and honored the doctor with shield. Dr. Aarathy Kannan, delivered a brief introduction about Diabetes and health awareness after that the camp started. Totally 75 staffs from various departments, non-teaching staffs and many students were benefitted. The students and staffs gave valuable feedback about the camp. Our college management provided all the necessary facilities to conduct this camp successfully. Finally, the program ended with National Anthem.
