Handing Over Ceremony of Flood Relief Materials – NSS Unit: 218

The National Service Scheme, Unit No. 218 organised the Handing Over Ceremony of Flood Relief Materials for flood affected people of Thoothukudi on 24.01.2024 at Auditorium, Kamaraj College. This event has initiated in association with the Indian Red Cross Society, Tuticorin Branch. The Welcome address was given by Dr.R.Karuppasamy, Programme Officer, NSS Unit No.218. Mr.Ajay Seenivasan, District Revenue Officer (DRO) was chief guest, and he distributed the relief materials to flood affected people. Under the leadership of Mr.P.S.P.K.J. Somu, Secretary, our principal Dr.J.Poongodi has delivered the presidential address. Followed by the felicitation address was given by Dr.A.Asok and Dr.A.Arunachala Rajan, Vice Principal. Totally 100 beneficiaries received the Rs 3000 worth of relief materials. The entire programme was successfully coordinated by the NSS Volunteers Mr.Kaliraj- II BA Tamil and Mr.Niranjan – I BBA Shipping.
