Guest Lecture: The Economics of Small Scale Business in Thoothukudi – Dept. of Economics
The Department of Economics (SF) at Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, organized a guest lecture titled “The Economics of Small Scale Business in Thoothukudi” on 28 September 2024. The event took place in the GJ Block Seminar Hall at 11 AM and was attended by students from the Department of Economics. The welcome address was delivered by Mr. E. Vishwa, a IIIrd year B.A Economics (SF) student. The resource person for the event, Mr. P. Ramesh, owner of Ramesh Cable Networks, Thoothukudi, was introduced and honored by Dr. M. Chandra, Assistant Professor of Economics (SF), Kamaraj College(Autonomous). During the lecture, Mr. Ramesh provided valuable insights into the economic challenges and opportunities in running small-scale businesses in Thoothukudi. His talk highlighted key factors that influence the success of small enterprises in the region, and students were highly engaged throughout the session. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. K. Muthaiya Muralidharan, a II B.A Economics (SF).
