Guest Lecture: Scope of Microbiology in Sea Food Export Factories – Microbiology Dept.

As a part of Academic industrial collaboration (MOU), The Post Graduate and Research Department of Microbiology organized Guest Lecture on ‘Scope of Microbiology in Sea Food Export Factories’, by the resource person, Mr. P. Rahul, Sea Food Quality Control, Kulaiyankarisal. Dr. S. Abirami, HOD, Convener for the program, delivered a clear introduction on the programme and Dr. M. Sangeetha, the organizing secretary of the program honoured the resource person with memento. The resource person spelt out the various methods of food processing in sea food industry, role of quality controller, documentation process and also gave various ideas to get sea food industry jobs. His entire lecture was a big eye opener to the students. The PG and UG students, actively participated and provided insightful feedback.
