The Department of Economics (SF) at Kamaraj College(Autonomous), Thoothukudi, organized a guest lecture titled “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Modern Society” as part of a value education program on 28 September 2024. The event took place at 10 AM in the GJ Block Seminar Hall and was attended by students of the department.The welcome address was delivered by Mr. S. Sudhakar, a IIIrd year B.A Economics (SF) student. The resource person for the event, Ms. K. Abirami, B.Tech., M.B.A., NET, Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Kamaraj College(Autonomous), Thoothukudi was introduced and honored by Dr. K. Anitha, Assistant Professor of Economics (SF), Kamaraj College(Autonomous). Ms. Abirami gave a highly informative lecture on the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) on various aspects of modern society. Her presentation covered the potential benefits and challenges posed by AI, and students found the session engaging and thought-provoking. The event concluded with a vote of thanks.
