Guest Lecture on Surrealist Ideology and Praxis – English Dept.

The Department of English, Kamaraj College organised a guest lecture on the title “Surrealist Ideology and Praxis” on 21.08.2023 at 9:30 am in the GJ Block Seminar Hall. Mrs. A. Priyanka, Assistant Professor, Department of English (SSC), St. Mary’s College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi was the guest speaker. Our student S. Rahmath Riswana of II M.A. English hosted the program, R. V. Reshma of I M.A. English welcomed the gathering, and S. Pradeep of II B.A. English felicitated the guest speaker. The resource person communicated efficiently to the participants with her potent knowledge. She elaborated on all the details of Surrealist Ideology and explained numerous terms and views on it. She efficiently differentiated surrealism as a personality theory as well as an art form that are prevalent in contemporary literature. The students of the english department listened and responded to the resource person energetically. S. Ganesh of I B.A. English delivered the vote of thanks. The overall outcome of the guest lecture was very fruitful and satisfactory for both students and staff members.
