Guest Lecture on  Next Gen Solution for Antibiotic Resistance: A New Hope – Microbiology Dept.

On 20.02.2025, Post Graduate and Research Department of Microbiology organized Guest Lecture on  ‘NEXT GEN SOLUTION FOR ANTIBIOTIC RESISTANCE: A NEW HOPE’. Dr. N.C.J. PACKIA LEKSHMI, Assistant Professor, Resource person from Noorul Islam College for Higher Education, Department of Allied Health Sciences , delivered a lecture on antibiotic resistance in a detailed manner. Dr. S. Abirami, HOD, Convener and Organizing secretary for this program,  honoured the resource person with memento. This session was interactive and the resource person stated   that Antibiotic resistance occurs when bacteria evolve mechanisms to withstand the effects of antibiotics, making these medications ineffective against infections. Our department students actively interacted with the resource person and  gathered clear knowledge about Next-Gen solution for Antibiotic Resistance.
