Guest lecture on IOT and it’s Applications – Dept. of Computer Science

The Research Department of Computer science conducted the department association inauguration and guest lecture on IOT and it’s applications. Rev. Dr. S. Alexander Suresh, Assistant professor and DBCA DIRECTOR, Don Bosco College of Art’s and Science, Acted as the Chief guest and resource person. The chief guest is also an administrator, Director of Don Bosco College of Arts and Science. The chief guest was welcomed by P. Rahul II B Sc. (C.S). The department association student office bearers were introduced and presented with Mementos by the faculty members of the department. The resource person gave a lecture and importance of security in Internet of Things. He also informed about the carrier opportunities in this field and the skills the students should equip. The Vote of Thanks was given student president M. Jeeva III Bsc (C.S). The arrangements were made by the students with the guidance of the HOD Dr. V. Joseph Peter and all the professors of research department of Computer science. The MC of the program was done by K. Mythili III Bsc., (C.S) . Nearly 120 students attended this interactive session and got inspired.
