Guest Lecture on Fundamental Rights – NSS Unit 216 & YRC

The PG & Research Department of English (SF), in collaboration with NSS Unit 216 and YRC, organized a special lecture on Fundamental Rights The event was graced by Mr. Shanmuga Sundarakumar, Assistant Professor, Government Law College, Tirunelveli, as the chief guest. The program commenced with a prayer song, followed by a warm welcome. Mr Vijaya Ragavan Assistant professor, presented a memento to the chief guest as a token of appreciation. Miss J. Belcia Mirthula from III BA English delivered the Welcome address, setting the tone for the session. Mr. Shanmuga Sundarakumar then took over the session, delivering an insightful and informative lecture on Fundamental Rights, emphasizing their importance in everyday life. His speech provided clarity on constitutional rights and duties, engaging the audience effectively. As the session concluded, Mr Jude Santhosh from II MA English expressed gratitude with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the chief guest’s valuable insights. The event ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem. The session was highly informative and beneficial, enhancing students’ understanding of their fundamental rights as responsible citizens.
