Guest Lecture on Art Education and History Specialization – Dept. of History

The PG and Research Department of History, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi, conducted a guest lecture on the topic “Art Education and History Specialization” on 31-07-2024. The Guest Program started with the Introduction and welcome address of the guest Dr.Saha.M.Shankar, Founder of Saha Kalai Kulu by D.Ananthi Rani ( History). Next, the Resource Person gave his special and specific address on the importance of Art Education and its development in India. He clearly explained to the students the fundamental features of Art Education and its historical value. He also shared his own experiences in different aspects of his duty as an Artist . He also shared the necessary procedure and steps to focus on the different artistic skills as well as how to handle it. Finally the vote of thanks was given by A.Petchi Priya ( History).This Guest Lecture enabled the students to know the details of Artistic skills and its value in the present mechanical and busy life. Nearly 102 students participated in this program. The students made all the arrangements with the guidance of Dr.A.Devaraj, Head of the History Department.This academic program was organised successfully by the History department Staff members.
