As part of the nationwide 100-day campaign under the theme “Save the Girl Child, Educate the Girl Child”, the National Service Scheme of Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi organized a meaningful Girl Child Awareness Programme on Friday, 23 January 2026, from 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. on the college campus.
This initiative aligned with the larger district-wide movement being conducted in Thoothukudi district from 27 November 2025 to 8 March 2026, aimed at eliminating child marriage, promoting girls’ education, and strengthening girl child protection.
