Fundamentals and Application of Plant Sciences

Department of Botany has conducted “Botany Department Association ” inauguration and a Guest lecture on ” Fundamentals and Application of Plant Sciences” on 30.10.2021 ( Saturday ). The meeting began with a silent prayer. The event was presided over by Dr. C. P. Balakrishnan, Assistant professor and Head, Department of Botany, Aditanar College of Arts and Science, Virapandianpatnam, Tiruchendur. Ms. I. Mahima Jencia Salomi ( I year) welcomed the gathering. The Resource person Dr. C. P. Bala Krishnan was felicitated by our Principal, Dr. D. Nagarajan. Dr. C. P. Bala Krishnan enlightened the students with innovative entrepreneurship ideas concerning plant sciences. As a part of the association inauguration, office bearers of our department for the current academic year (2021- 2022) were selected unanimously. Ms. R. Dhanalakshmi ( III year) delivered the vote of thanks. The meeting ended with the National Anthem.
