
Field Trip: Tamilnadu Police Museum, Coimbatore – Criminology Dept.
The Department of Criminology, Kamaraj College (SF) organized a Field Trip for III, II and I year CPA students to Coimbatore Tamilnadu Police Museum, Pollachi Top slip Trekking, and Cochin Hills Palace Museum on 7th, 8th and 9th February 2025. Tamilnadu Police museum serves as an educational and insightful destination for those interested in the rich history and development of law enforcement in Tamil Nadu. Pollachi Top Slip is a beautiful trekking destination in Tamil Nadu, located within the Annamalai Tiger Reserve. It is known for its lush green forests, rich wildlife, and scenic landscapes. The trek offers an opportunity to explore diverse flora and fauna, including elephants, deer, bison, and exotic bird species. Trekking at Top Slip was a thrilling experience, with trails passing through dense forests, rolling hills, and breathtaking. The Hill Palace Museum offers a comprehensive glimpse into Kerala’s rich cultural and historical heritage. This field trip was an exciting and educational experience that allows students to step outside the classroom and gain practical knowledge. It provides hands-on learning opportunities, helps students connect theory with real-world applications, and encourages teamwork and exploration.
