Fashion Walk (Boys & Girls) Inter-Departmental Competition [Day-1] – Thaamirabharani Rolling Trophy 2023

தூத்துக்குடி காமராஜ் கல்லூரியில் கடந்த சில ஆண்டுகளாகத் தாமிரபரணி சுழல் கோப்பைக்காகத் துறைகளுக்கிடையிலான கலை மற்றும் விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகள் நடத்தப்பட்டு வருகின்றன. இந்த (2023) ஆண்டும் 20.09.2023 – 22.09.2023 ஆகிய மூன்றுநாட்கள் நடத்திடத் திட்டமிடப்பட்டு போட்டிகள் நடைபெற்று வருகின்றன. போட்டிகளின் முதல் நாளான 20.09.2023 இன்று பிற்பகல் 1.30 மணியளவில் ஆடை அலங்கார அணிவகுப்பு போட்டியானது நடைபெற்றது. இதில் 13 துறைகளைச் சார்ந்த 78 மாணவ /மாணவியர் கலந்துகொண்டு தங்கள் திறமைகளை வெளிப்படுத்தினர். போட்டியின் நிறைவில் வணிகவியல் துறை (ரெகுலர்) மாணவர்கள் முதல் இடத்தையும் வணிகவியல் துறை (சுயநிதி) மாணவர்கள் இரண்டாம் இடத்தையும், நுண்ணறிவியல் துறை (சுயநிதி) மாணவிகள் மூன்றாம் இடத்தையும் பெற்றுள்ளார்கள். போட்டிகளை கல்லூரியின் முதல்வர் மற்றும் துணைமுதல்வர் ஆரம்பித்துவைக்க ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர்களின் (பேராசிரியர்களின்) முழு ஒத்துழைப்புடன் சிறப்பாக நடந்தேறியது.

The second event of today’s occasion was Fashion Walk. A total of 78 participants, from 13 departments with six each gave their vibrant performance. The participants held the audience in awe as they promenaded on the dias with their imbedded powerful messages. Students draped themselves with confidence and elegance along with dazzling attires which matched the given theme “Traditional Dresses of a particular country”. The first prize was bagged by the department of Commerce(Aided) followed by the students of Commerce(SF) in the second place and department of Microbiology(SF) in the third position. The events of the day being initiated by our Principal Dr. J. Poongodi and Vice Principal Dr. A. Arunachalarajan reflected the healthy contests between the departments and the untiring work of the administration and all teaching and non teaching staff.
