Faculty Development Program – IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Towards Excellence in Teaching, Mentorship, and Research: Advancing Higher Education Practices” on February 22, 2025, at the Seminar Hall. The event featured two distinguished speakers: Dr. William Dharma Raja, Dean (i/c), College Development Council, Manonmanium Sundaranar University, who shared his expertise on “Anticipated Roles of HEI Teachers: Teaching, Mentorship, and Research.” Dr. T. Raja Thangiah, who enlightened the audience on “Scholarly Publishing Excellence: Navigating High-Impact Journals.” The program was graced by Principal Dr. J. Poongodi, who honored the speakers with a shawl. Vice Principals Dr. A. Asok and Dr. A. Arunachala Rajan extended their support.
IQAC coordinator Dr. M. Gethsiyal Augasta and Assistant IQAC coordinator Mrs. S. Jinduja, along with FDP coordinators Dr. M. Ummu Jasmine and Dr. G. Thilagavathy, ensured the program’s success. Mrs.S. Remona, Head and Assistant Professor of English welcomed the gathering. Dr. A.Subashini, Assistant Professor of English, had hosted the program in an elegant manner. All the faculties who had attended the program could further enrich the learning experience for our students and contribute meaningfully to the field of higher education.
