Mastering English Proficiency Through Vocabulary Enhancement – Commerce Dept.

The Department of Commerce at Kamaraj College continued its impactful English Proficiency Series with an enriching session held on 17th July 2025, under the theme “Mastering English Proficiency Through Vocabulary Enhancement.” The session was skillfully conducted by Mrs. Reeda Albin Mary, whose engaging and student-centric approach captivated the attention of all first-year participants.

This workshop focused specifically on building vocabulary skills, an essential component of effective communication. Through a mix of interactive games, quizzes, and context-based learning tasks, students were encouraged to expand both their active and passive vocabulary. The session was designed to not only teach new words but also to demonstrate their application in academic, professional, and everyday contexts.
