An Elocution competition was conducted for the Students in the Library on the Topic, “Library and it’s Usage”, on 26th September 2023 by 01:30 PM. 22 Students from Aided and Unaided Courses participated in the Competition. Our College Principal presided over the Prize distribution ceremony. Our Principal and Dr. M. Navaneethakrishnan, H.O.D. of Maths addressed the gathering. The importance of Library Usage by the Students for their betterment has been insisted by them in their Speech. Cash Awards have been given to winners. S. Sanjay I B.A (Tamil) got first prize Rs.2000/ . K. Ashwathi Ratha II B.A (Tamil) received Second prize Rs.1500/. The third prize Rs. 1000/ was given to two Students, one is M.Kamali , I B.A (Criminology and Forensic Science) and another one is A.Mahisini I B.Com (Aided). Finally College Librarian T. Tamilarasan proposed vote of thanks. Dr.M.Murali and Dr.G.Thilagavathy, HOD of Tamil were the judges for the competition. Participation certificates and console prizes were given to all the participants. The Library Assistant, Superintendent and staff from Unaided courses were present.
