EBSB Independence Day Camp – NCC

V. Durga, III BA History, participated in the EBSB Independence day camp, at New Delhi from 1st August to 16th August 2022. 58 cadets from all districts of Tamilnadu participated in the IDC Launch camp which was conducted earlier at Coimbatore from 20 July to 29 July 2022 .Out of 58 cadets 12 cadets were selected . on the basis of elocution about the district they belong to and communication skill to represent their district at the Independence day camp in New Delhi. V. Durga from Kamaraj College, is one among the 12 cadets selected. she represented Thoothukudi district in traditional attire. She also participated in the choir singing of patriotic songs and National Anthem on the occasion of the Independence Day Flag Hoisting Ceremony at Red Fort on 15th August 2022. She got the opportunity to interact with our Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi.
