East -West Encounter: Plight and Panacea in Indian Writings
The English department conducted a webinar on 2nd July 2020 at 10.00 a.m. The topic was – East -West encounter: Plight and Panacea in Indian Writings.The speaker was Dr.Ashok Kadam, Professor, P.G.Department of English, Sri Shivaji Mahavidyalaya, Barshi, Maharashtra.He gave an enchanting speech on the topic” Cultural Newness:A diaspora space in Jumpha Lahiri’s short stories”. Participants from the other countries also participated and the remarks and appreciation of the participants were really awesome. More than 800 participants registered for it and nearly 540 participated in it from various parts of the country.
