The District Level Chess Tournament Kamaraj College conducted on July 20, 2025, was a grand celebration of International Chess Day. One of the most memorable achievements of the day was by B. Selvamurugan, a II B.A. Economics student of Kamaraj College. He secured the First Prize in the Open Category and received a cash award of ₹2000. His victory was a source of pride for the college community.
